meet CAndi

Hey Bestie. Let's Make some  magic

Mom. Photographer. Creative. Chronic over-analyzer. Professional chaos navigator.
And the woman behind Cuddles x Chaos.
If we were meeting in person, you’d walk in and I’d probably hand you a warm drink and say, “Okay, let’s take a breath together.” Because motherhood? It’s a lot. And even though I’ve reached the Over-40 chapter (where your knees crack but your wisdom finally catches up), I’m still learning alongside you every single day.
With four kids spanning ages 1 to 15, I’ve lived nearly every stage of motherhood at least once — the newborn haze, the toddler turbulence, the big-kid identity shifts, the teenage rollercoaster… all sprinkled with a generous dose of real-life neurodivergence.
ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Anxiety — they all live here.
 So does joy.
 So does love.
So does the daily dance of pivoting, rethinking, making space, and celebrating every tiny win.
Cuddles x Chaos wasn’t created from perfection.
It was born from lived experience.

MY FAVE THINGS

ANYWAYYY
LET'S GET INTO THE fun stuff

For years, I tried to manage motherhood like it was something that could be “balanced.” Spoiler: it can’t. Not in the traditional sense. It’s more like… a choreography. Some days you’re moving gracefully, and other days you’re tripping over somebody’s shoe that was definitely not where you told them to put it.
Photography was always the thing that helped me slow down — the place where the noise softened long enough for me to notice the good stuff. The real stuff.
I spent over a decade photographing families, newborns, seniors, weddings — capturing the moments between the moments.
 The X’s and O’s.
 The zig-zags and the softness.
But after becoming a mom (and then becoming a mom again, and again, and again), my work shifted. I didn’t want to just take photos anymore — I wanted to tell stories. Emotional, imperfect, beautifully honest stories of families who look a lot like mine.
Somewhere along the way, brands started asking for content. Not staged, polished content… but real-life storytelling that reflected motherhood the way it actually is.
Suddenly, the pieces clicked:
 My photography.
 My creative brain.
 My motherhood experience.
 My neurodivergent family.
 My storytelling voice.
Everything had been building toward this.
And that’s how Cuddles x Chaos became both a photography home and a creative hub for the kind of content only real moms can make.
